Have we established a regular pattern of interaction?
Are we setting aside regular time to reflect on our partnership?

How well are we communicating with each another?
Are there any issues we are uncomfortable about discussing?
Are we continuing to work at maintaining the trust in this relationship?

How can I improve the quality of my mentoring interaction?
Am I providing thoughtful, candid and constructive feedback?
Is my student teacher using the feedback to take action?

What kinds of development opportunities am I providing to help fulfil my student teacher’s goals?
