The purpose of this module is to give a brief survey of the various contexts the student teacher will encounter as a beginner teacher. These contexts are often taken for granted by more experienced teachers.
Outcomes: By the end of this unit, you should have developed:
- A consciousness of the various school contexts which may be new for a student teacher
- An understanding of the core elements of each system that the student teacher needs to be aware of
