The Didactic Triangle 

The didactic triangle has 3 equal constituents: the teacher, the learner, and content.

  1. The learner: includes issues such as learning, growth and social interaction.
  2. The teacher: includes elements such as your personal history and education
  3. The content: includes all the content of the curriculum.

The pedagogical relationship is the interactive relationship between you and your learner.

The content relationship refers to the subjects defined in the curriculum and other content.

The didactic relationship refers to a learner’s study and learning processes. This is at the heart of your work as a teacher. The aim of teaching is to promote learning.
